Challenge
Brands, especially in the eCommerce sector, need a strong and unique presence. So does Foodist. The Hamburg-based company, which is part of The Quality Group, wanted a new modular and modern online shop.
The challenge is that the new shop should also be available for other brands at short intervals, but not be a copy cat.
Process
In an iterative and agile process, in close coordination with the Product Owner, the Creative Director and the Development Team, we developed a vision of what the future online shop for Foodist should look like.
Parallel to this phase, the first responsive components and modules have already been defined and created in a Figma library. This library forms the core of all views that were created in a separate Figma file. Thanks to the seamless integration of the development team, the defined MVP scope could be implemented relatively quickly.
Outcome
The result is a modular, component-based design system that can be quickly adapted and used for new online shops. Only individual parameters need to be adjusted to create a completely new look & feel. In addition to the UI components, the final components and modules were also developed in such a way that these adjustments can be made quickly.
This makes it possible to launch new brands with their independent online shops at incredible speed.
